Who notices it besides you?
How would you describe your recovery right now?
What have you tried so far?
A binder pulls in one direction at one height, so it rolls up the moment you sit. Shapewear squeezes you smaller for a few hours, then rolls down and gets too hot. Exercises rebuild your core, but between sessions nothing holds your middle. Each one does a part. None holds you all day.
You don't have to accept a middle that doesn't feel like yours.
It was never the amount of pressure. It was the direction.
Your middle stretched across and down, over many months. One tight band can only pull side to side. That's why it digs, rolls and ends up in a drawer.

"I tried the same velcro binder. It rolled up the first time I sat down to feed. The shorts held my whole middle, and nothing pushed on my incision. I wore them all day and forgot they were on."
Based on your answers, we're putting together your recovery plan.
Does your binder or waistband roll or dig in when you sit down?
A binder pulls in one direction at one height. Sit down, and the top edge folds over. That isn't your fault and it isn't the wrong size. It's the wrong direction.
Does your middle feel loose, like it isn't held together?
Six weeks is when the paperwork clears you. Your ligaments take about four months. Until then, your middle is still healing, and it needs something that holds all of it, not one line of it.
Do you get hot or sweaty in compression garments?
Thick panels and velcro trap heat, and support only works while you actually wear it. That's why the fabric matters as much as the hold.
Your Postpartum Core Support Profile
Your 12-week plan to feel held together again.
- Week 1–2 Held from morning to night while standing up still feels scary.
- Week 3–6 Sit, feed and lift your baby without fixing anything.
- Week 7–12 Keep the support going past the six-week checkup. Your ligaments take about four months.
Two pairs cover the whole plan: one on you, one in the wash.

Questions moms ask before ordering
If this works, why didn't my hospital give me this?
Hospitals hand out binders for the first hours after birth, and that is what the binder studies measure: the first 24 to 48 hours in a hospital bed. After that, nobody follows you home. In Germany, midwives visit new moms for weeks. In the US, you get one checkup. Your nurses did what the system lets them do.
Isn't this just shapewear?
No. Shapewear is made to squeeze you smaller for an evening. It rolls and it gets hot. BellyShape™ is made to hold a healing middle from two directions, all day, for months, with no narrow edge and a soft liner sewn in.
Will it make my core lazy?
No garment replaces core work, and BellyShape™ isn't meant to. It's support while you rebuild, with your pelvic floor PT, your recovery class or your program. Keep doing the exercises. Just stop doing them with your middle on its own.
The binder didn't work for me. Why would this?
The binder failed because of how it is built, not because of your body. One band can only squeeze one line. If BellyShape™ doesn't feel different within a day, you have 30 days to send it back.
Which size should I get?
Pick your size from the size chart on the product page. If you are between two sizes, take the bigger one.
I had a C-section. Can I wear it?
Yes. BellyShape™ is high-rise and padded over the C-section line, so nothing tight sits on your scar. As with any compression after surgery, check with your doctor or midwife before you start.
When can I start, and how long do I wear it?
Start as soon as your doctor or midwife says compression is okay for you. BellyShape™ is made for the first weeks and months after birth, from morning to night, because your body needs support longer than six weeks.
Will it show under my clothes?
No. The smooth fabric sits flat under leggings, jeans and dresses. Nobody can tell you are wearing it.
Does it get hot?
No. The fabric is light and breathable, with a slightly cool feel. There is no velcro and no thick panel to trap heat.
What about bleeding after birth?
A soft liner is sewn in for postpartum spotting from week two. On heavier days, simply wear it with your usual pad.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash at 30 °C (86 °F) and let it air dry. With two pairs, one is always ready to wear.
What if it's not right for me?
You have 30 days risk-free. If BellyShape™ is not right for you, send it back. Shipping is free.
